Elliott Paul-Allen Smith was born to Jacqueline L. Smith and Eugene Donahue on January 27, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri. Elliott was the first born to this union. He is preceded in death by his mother, his paternal grandparents, Daisy and William Smith, and maternal grandparents Georgetta and Charles Donahue.

Elliott received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri Public School District.  He graduated from Southeast High School in 1985.  Upon high school graduation, Elliott pursued his degree at the University of Missouri (MU).  He graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.  He served in the United States Air Force.

Elliott was employed at ADP Company until his illness.

Elliott was a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Elliott leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters Erica and Sherita Smith; one brother Mario Jacks; two nieces Aryonne and JaMya Smith; three nephews Andre Parks, Sheldon Smith and A'den Smith; seven aunts Brenda Yam-Kuma, Sherrie Williams, Rita Smith, Valerie Jordan (Sharky), Debra Wright (Robert), Sara Bradford, and Anita Matthews; two uncles Charles Donahue and Howard Donahue; and his best friend, brother from another mother Anthony Barnes; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
