Ethel L. Lynch was born September 21, 1942, to Lish and Luella Slaughter in Palestine, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Leroy; parents, Lish and Luella Slaughter; sisters, Ida, Louise, Georgia, Ellen, Lillie, Beatrice and Joyce; brothers, Lish, Jr., Wilson and Johnny "Little John"; three children, Mark, Darwin, Sr. and Thelma and a grandson, Marc.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  Ethel had many jobs throughout her life before becoming a childcare provider. She worked in that field for over 35 years before retiring.

Ethel was an inspiration to her family. Her home was a welcoming place for all. There were many memories created there. She would not only feed your belly, but also your soul.

She leaves behind 4 children, Shirley Levy (AC), Bonita Roundtree and Vanessa Bogart-Nichols of KCMO, and Andrew Bogart Jr. (Sunshine) of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Flora White, Louella Bradshaw (Charles), Freddie Slaughter and Christine Williams all of KCMO and Mary L. Humphrey of Forrest City, AR; brothers, Charles Slaughter (Sandra) of KCMO, Daniel Slaughter of Scranton, PA and David Slaughter of Rowena, PA; grandchildren, Toiyahnna Brown, Ronisha Amerison (Jonathan), Rayshawn Bogart, Rometta Horn, Andre Bogart Sr. (Ashley), Asya Robinson, Denise Slaughter, Darwin Bogart. Jr., Amanda Bogart, Maurice Bogart (Khamil), Malachi, Destiny Bogart, DaJuan Bogart, Tony Roundtree, Vernon Roundtree, and Marcus Berry of KCMO, and Andrew Bogart III (Delecia) and Antjuan Bogart of Las Vegas, NV; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins countless friends and honorary son-in-law, Cesar Vargas.

Services for Mrs. Lynch will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Charity Church.  Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
