Faye Marie Watson was born on June 25, 1964 to the union of Howard Watson and Lula M. (Atkinson) Watson in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was the 2nd of three children from that union.  She was preceded in death by both of her loving parents.

Faye received her education in the Battle Creek, Michigan School District where she graduated from Central High School.  Shortly after graduation, Faye relocated from Battle Creek, Michigan to Kansas City, Missouri with her family.

When Faye reached Kansas City, she enrolled into Technical College to start a career as a CNA.  Even though Faye didn't complete the program, she was a natural caregiver.  She was known in the family to care for everyone in their time of need.  During her lifetime, Faye worked as a housekeeper, and a day care provider.  She always spoke about her love of caring for children, but her favorite job was at UMKC School of Dentistry where she worked until the time of her passing.  Faye was known as being a hard worker and dedicated to whatever position she was assigned.

Faye had a love for animals. She always had a pet cat or dog.  If she could not have one, she was feeding the local strays in the area.  Faye had many passions. She loved to draw, shop, and listening to music of all genres.  She was a great cook, great spades partner, and loved to sit around sharing memories with her family while cracking jokes and laughing.

With a meek and mild temperament for the most part, but if you see sweat on her nose it was going to be furniture moving.  Faye always had a bit of a mystery to her which draws you in to wanting to know her.  She was raised in the church and introduced to God at an early age.  She was a member of Victory Way Most High God in Christ True Holiness where she was a faithful member, with her mother, for several years.

Faye was a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt who was always there when you needed her.  She had many family members and friends that loved her and will miss their special relationship she had with each of us.

Our Dearest Faye Marie passed away on June 4, 2023 at the young age of 58.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheri S. Watson of Kansas City, MO; two sons, La 'Quinton J. Watson of Springfield Mo and Amear D. Watson of Kansas City; seven grandchildren; two siblings, Warnette Watson (Sidney) Woods and Daniel Watson of Kansas City, MO; two nieces; one nephew; 3 grand nephews; and a host of family and friends.
