Frank Wadious Ewell Jr., 58, passed at St. Luke's East Hospital on April 9, 2019.  He was born November 7, 1960 to the union of Frank Ewell Sr. and Serrena Ewell in Kansas City, MO.  He was the first of five children born to this union.  His parents and sister, Lois Jones, preceded him in death.

Frank attended Kansas City Missouri Public Schools and graduated from Paseo High School.  After high school, Frank attended Penn Valley Community College.  Over the course of Frank's life, he was blessed to work in many trades.  Frank worked as a security guard for many business operations.  He also worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation.  Frank retired from Durham School Services in 2011.

Frank accepted the Lord at an early age.  As a child, Frank was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.  In his adult life, Frank was a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church and Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.  He accepted the call of Deaconship in 2016 at the Hands of Christ Church under the leadership of Bishop Charles Brown and Pastor Jackie Brown.  In his heart, Frank knew his calling was to minister to people, and although he never stepped into the pulpit, he ministered to anyone who would listen to the message of Jesus Christ!

Frank leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Tammie (MIss T) Ewell, Goddaughter, Nyesha Lyas; sister Sharon R. Ewell, brothers, Bryant K. Ewell Sr., Leroy M. Ewell (Lynn), Elroy J. Ewell (Carolyn), Deborah Melton (Giles); sister-in-law LaRonda Boyd, brother-in-law Aaron Boyd, Father-in-law Carl Kendall (Nancy), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services for Mr. Ewell will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 19, 2019, at Mount Olive Baptist Church.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the church.
