We regretfully announce the passing of Gayle Pauline Holland (née Webster) of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Houston, Texas, on April 28, 2026, at the age of 69.

A loving and devoted mother of one son, Gayle was born on November 15, 1956. A woman of profound intellect and vibrant spirit, she was the youngest of three children born to Eddie and Fannie Webster. Gayle was a proud alumna of Lincoln High School, Class of 1975, in Kansas City, Missouri. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University and a Master's degree in Human Resources from Baker University. Her professional career was distinguished by excellence and impact, reflected in her success as a high-ranking Mary Kay sales associate and the lasting contributions she made at the Juvenile Justice Center, AT&T, and Apria.

Beyond her accomplishments, Gayle was the undeniable life of the party. Her home was always filled with music and the comforting aroma of her cooking, gifts she shared generously with all who entered. She built deep, lasting friendships and embraced extended family as her own, leaving a lasting imprint of warmth, joy, and laughter on every life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Fannie Webster, and her brothers, Randall and Roland Horton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted son, Kenton Holland Sr.; her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life and the recipients of her boundless love; three cherished siblings, whose lifelong bonds brought her great joy, Gary Johnson, Pamela Kelly, and Jackie Young; one great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also deeply cherished by five devoted friends, Sandy Maybon, Sheryl Dickerson of Houston, Texas, Debbie Johnson, Norma Edgerson, and Kelly Brooks.

She did not simply live in this world; she made it better. While her presence is irreplaceable, the love and legacy she leaves behind will remain in our hearts forever.
