Mr. George Anthony Pettis Clark of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on January 5, 2024. He was born on December 16, 1954.

George, aka "Tony", graduated from Washington High School, in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1973. After high school, he joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Polk Army Base, Louisiana.

After serving his time, in the Army, he moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he later met his wife Doris Hunter, and to that union, three children were born.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris.

He continued his education and received his Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn Valley Community College.  Several years later, he met his wife Felicia and became a blended family that now included five children. He owned his own business called Georgie Porgie's and was a master of all trades focusing on home renovations.

Tony was a jokester and a comedian at heart. He loved his family. He loved to cook and enjoyed Louisiana-style cooking and was famous for his sausage, boudin and gumbo."

Tony was active in attending his high school reunions and kept in touch with his classmates of the Class of 1973 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Pettis, Zorita Clark and Frederick Clark; grandparents; sister-in-law, Marla; and mother-in-law, Laura.

He leaves behind his wife, Felicia; his children, George Clark, Jr., Joshua Clark and Jeanette Clark, Arnold Porter, Jr. (Jonea), Armond Porter (Rochelle); his eight grandchildren; and his siblings, Christopher (Joyce), Cynthia Clark, JoAnn Clark, John Clark (Patricia), Alvin Clark (Michelle), Mark Clark, Mary Longwood (Ben), Frances Baker (Michael), Kevin Clark (Karen) and Angela Wright (Leo); and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
