Henry Lee Donald Hampton "Pootye" who passed away at the age 34, on Tuesday, August 4 th , 2020.

Henry was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born to Henry Buffington and Sharon Hampton-Townsends November 20, 1985.  Both parents preceded him in death, also his grandparents and a host of other family and friends.

He attended school in Kansas City, Missouri.  Henry was genuinely loved all around Kansas City.  He attended church at St Paul's Church of the Nazarene under Pastor Matthew.

Henry was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin & Friend.  Henry loved going swimming; He also loved chilling in the Park.  He always had a story to tell to make everyone laugh.  His favorite sayings were "Breaking News", "That's the Law "or "If you knew better then you do better."

Henry loved and was very protective over his son.  Their bond was amazing and they both acted just alike (lol).

He survived by: his only son, La'KyVon Hampton "KyVee";  sister, Sharrone Hampton; brother, Stephen Buffington all of Kansas City, Missouri; his son's mother, LaKiva Thatcher; nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins as well a host of family and friends.

Services for Mr. Hampton will be held 2:00 P. M. Friday, August 21, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
