Henry A. Samuels, Jr. was born on September 10, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas to Henry A. Samuels, Sr. and Lucy J. Samuels

Henry found the Lord at an early age.  He lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area all his life.  He attended Wendall Phillips grade school, Lincoln Junior and Senior High School.  He worked at the Kansas City Housing Corporation and was self employed most of his work career.  He also worked as a plumber and rehabbed houses.

Henry married his wife, Joyce Moore, of 19 years on July 27, 2000.

Henry was the father of eight children, Hendrea, Shalyn, Henry, III, Aaron, Janesse, Alexis, Alaia, and Shayna of Kansa City.  He was a proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Jack H. Samuels, San Bernardino, CA; John L. and Joseph L. Samuels, of Kansas City, MO; and a sister Jacqueline M. Scott also of Kansas City, MO.
