Hollis Wayne Mack, Sr. was born February 8, 1951, in Jefferson, Texas, to the union of Sandy Mack and Gracie Atkins. He was the baby boy of seven children. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ikisha T. Mack; his parents, two brothers, Sandy Mack, Jr. and John Mack; a sister, Lillian Mack; and a nephew, Sandy O. Smith.

When Hollis Wayne was young, his parents moved the family to Kansas City, Missouri. Hollis received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. He graduated from Central High School in 1969.

Hollis Wayne lived in Wisconsin for many years. He worked as a stone masonry and as a construction worker. He moved back to Kansas City and worked for General Motors until retirement.

Hollis Wayne loved playing dominoes and cards. He loved listening to "Old School" music and playing football and the "Dirty" dozens.

Hollis Wayne is survived by his wife, Terri Adams Mack; two sons, Hollis W. Mack, Jr. and Alex J. Adams; two daughters, Akasha Mack and Derrick Davenport; three sisters, Marilyn Washington, Annie Mack Jackson, Cheryeal Mack; brother-in-law, Robert Washington, Sr. and a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
