Howard Eugene Harding departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.  Howard was of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born January 20, 1949, to Maxine and Delmar Harding. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Clarence "Kiddo" Harding, aunt, Wilma Jean Knight and a cousin, Carolyn Roland.  All five angels were an intricate part of his life.

Howard accepted Christ at an early age and continued to walk in faith with Jesus Christ throughout his entire life span. He attended and graduated from Faver High School -Guthrie, OK Class of 1967. Thereafter, Howard joined the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country with honor, dignity and respect during the Vietnam ERA. Upon completing his service in the military he married and relocated to Kansas City, MO. During this union was born his only child, Tymara Lynn Harding and from her, two grandchildren, Tynia Riley and Anthony Collier II all of Kansas City, MO.

Howard was employed with Yellow Roadway Corporation (YRC) of Kansas City, MO as a truck driver and he was a member of the local Teamsters.  After decades of dedicated service he retired from YRC in 2011, as a dock man. Howard was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in which he coached and mentored little league baseball. He also participated in multiple Church functions. Being a country man, a country setting always seemed to sooth his soul. As a horse owner and member of the Twin City Riders he enjoyed going to the ranch, taking care of and riding his horses.  He participated in community events with his horses, attending Rodeos and parades. He enjoyed fishing, vacationing, relaxing in the sun and spending quality time with family and friends.

He cherishes and leaves behind: his wife of 23 years Frances J. Harding, her two children, Tanya Ferraro (CA), Michael Davis (NE); six grandchildren: Desirae, Makalah, Michael, Emmanual "Mannie", Cadence, Isreal "Izzy"; one great-grandchild, Dallas and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Howard will be remembered for his strong yet gentle, loving character - He will be missed.

Service for Mr. Harding were held Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial Leavenworth National Cemetery.
