Jaclyn Dionne Mitchell was born to Regina Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell on October 2, 1983 in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was a sister to 14 siblings. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Mitchell, Sr.; brothers, Charles Walton, Farrell Mitchell and Enrique Valiente; and sister, Rosa Valiente.

She spent her early childhood attending grade school in Kansas City, KS. She later moved to Kansas City, MO with her mother and sister where she graduated from Central High School.

Jaclyn main passion was for cooking. She attended trade school for Culinary Arts at metropolitan Tech in Kansas City, MO. She later received a job as a cook at Truman Medical Center and The Veterans Hospital.

Her heart was as bright as her smile. Jackie loved her family and greeted them with given nicknames: "Hey Chula-bula, Kemma-Bena", "Sup Bro".  She spent he time cooking and feeding others. She loved to share her dishes with facebook and call family and friends day and night.

She made an abundant amount of friends in her neighborhood, school and church. She was baptized at an early age at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Jackie was very caring, lovable and loyal. She stayed by the phone with a listening ear and a handful of jokes to give. She was a natural born mother at heart. She had no problem with babysitting and of her nieces and nephews or watching her friends children. As a child, Jackie called the shots and had no problem correcting you in a mothers tone. She spent her time caring for others and recently got a job as a Home Health Aide. She cared for her aunt, Marg Walker with much pride and love. She ran errands, cooked and shared stories day and night.

Jaclyn D. Mitchell departed this earthly life on Monday, November 30, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons, Kemonie Mitchell and Marzjhon Thibeaux; her mother, Regina Valiente; father, Nelson Valiente; brothers, Mondell Walton, Askari Strong, Carlos Walton, Kenneth Mitchell, Ronald Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell; sisters, Rita Mitchell, Ja'Kema Cuchlow, Frances Valiente and Lisa Mitchell and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Services for Ms. Mitchell will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 3:00 pm at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel North.  Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 2:00 pm until service time at the chapel.
