James Franklin Beverly, Sr., aka Jimmy Beverly, was born July 17, 1942 to Jessie Beverly and Lillian Reaves.  He was preceded in death by both parents; son, James F. Beverly, Jr.; brother, Harvey Page; nieces, LaNeshia Davis-Riley and Ciressa Gibbs; uncle, W C Reaves; 3 grandchildren, Danny Beverly, Arthur Dawkins, and Julia Meeks.

Jimmy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.  He was a member of Sheffield Family Life Center.  He attended R. T. Coles and Manuel High School.  After high school, Jimmy furthered his education at Platte College.  He earned a Paralegal degree and worked for Sammie Edwards Law Firm until his health failed on September 7, 2010.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife of 18 years, Sheilaeva Beverly; 2 daughters, Carmelia Beverly and Cansandra Meeks; 1 son, Patrick Beverly (Janelle); 1 step son, Michael Riley, Jr. (Mariah); 5 brothers, Ronald Page (Frances), Donald Page (Jackie) of Chicago, IL, Dennis, Everett, Willis all of KCMO; brother-in-law, William Riley, III (LaJoyce), James Riley (Crystal), Kelvin Riley; sisters, Nina Henderson, Johnnie Mae Windburn, Shirley Robinson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Page; grandchildren, Alyiah Riley, Brandon Riley, Patrick Beverly, II, Andrain Beverly, Jacom Beverly, Michael Riley, III, Zamera Riley, Nathan Riley all from California; 3 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services for Mr. Beverly will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 22, 2021, at E. S. Eley and Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc.  Burial Brooking Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A. M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
