James Thomas Forsythe's Obituary
James Thomas Forsythe passed away June 29, 2018 after a brief critical illness. Jim was born February 28, 1956. The son of Helen V. Fortin Forsythe and Allan Gene Forsythe. He attended St. Louis grade school, Bishop Hogan High School and Missouri University of Columbia for a draftsman engineering degree. During his school years, Jim was an accomplished athlete playing football, baseball, basketball and his favorite soccer. He enjoyed classical music and was an avid Chiefs fan regardless of a winning or losing season. He was a devoted husband and loved all his family. He worked primarily as a private
Contractor for several large companies and finished his career with Hobart designing new refrigeration systems.
Jim married Karyn Nash on September 28, 1991. He is preceded in death by his father, Allan G. Forsythe, brothers, Michael and Paul along with his sister, Janet Recob. He is survived by his loving wife, Karyn, his son Tim Forsythe and wife, Pan, his brother, Greg Forsythe and sister, Joyce Forsythe and David Trail. Grandchildren Evie and Ainsley Forsythe, Carson and Claire Felton.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018, 9:00am – 10:00am with a Memorial Mass being 10:00am. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1001 E 52
