James Julian Lander, III, passed away on Saturday, July 3,2021 as a result of a battle with heart and kidney failure. He was born to James J. Lander Jr. and Theresa A. (Harvey) Wright on June 20, 1981 in Frankfort, KY. He was their first born child. He was baptized at a young age at Swope Parkway United Christian Church by Rev. K. David Cole. He attended Raytown Middle School and Southeast High School.

James had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed playing football as a child and continued to be a huge football fan, cheering his Chiefs on beside his father. He will be tremendously missed, but we all take comfort in knowing he's no longer suffering.

He is survived by his parents James Jr. (Carla) Lander and Theresa (Davionne Sr.) Harvey; his siblings Justin, Jessica (Jeffery), Anthony, Jada, Davionne Jr. (Arica)., Jamila, La'Kesha, Jeffery Sr., Kiara (Dassie IV), Shayla (Da-Nearle), and Ashley. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, and friends.

James will forever be our son, brother, uncle, family, and friend.

Services for Mr. Lander will be held 4:00 P.M., Sunday, July 11 ^th , 2021 at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. until service time, Sunday, at the chapel.
