Jamila Yvette McClelland "Mila" / "MeMe" was born September 29. 1975, to William Brown Jr. and Jeannette McClelland Flores.

She was born, raised, and attended school in Kansas City, MO. Today we celebrate her birthday with the love and warmth that she brought to everyone's life she met.

Mila enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family; valuing the relationships and bonds she created with those around her.

Mila departed this life on Friday, 21 of September 2018, at Research Medical Center.

She leaves behind a beautiful daughter who she bragged about and loved so much, Aquilah Naje Davis; two loving sisters, Kiya Lynette McClelland and April Barnett; a loving brother-in-law, William Barnett II; her step-father, Edward Flores; two nieces, Aaleigha and Mariya Barnett; two nephews, William Barnett III and Joshua Barnett along with a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends both close and far that were not mentioned, nor were they or will they be forgotten…

Services for Ms. McClelland will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Nicky Wright, Bowers Memorial CME Church officiating.  Private Disposition.
