Jason Tyler Smith, 19, tragically passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2020.

Jason was born in Kansas City, MO.  He graduated in the class of 2019.  Jason had many passions and dreams.  He had a fascination for race cars and racing them.  He was an outstanding athlete who had a passion for soccer.  Jason was a great defensive player and took his team all the way to state and placed 3rd.  Whenever he had the opportunity, he enjoyed the great outdoors by fishing and camping.  Jason also loved to travel.  He had dreamed of one day taking a long road trip to see the ocean again.  Oh and how can we forget his collection for those damn Jordan shoes!

Jason was a very happy outgoing person who always encouraged everyone to be their best.  He had an infectious smile that always spread joy to everyone around him.  He always thought of friends and family.

He was a loving son to Stephanie and a caring brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin.  Jason was soon to be a devoted husband to Valorie.

He is survived by his mother Stephanie Smith (Craven), Armando Aguilar, two brothers Joe and John, two sisters Jazmine and Jaylah, fiancé Valorie Grady, grandparents Raymond and Taffy Smith, aunts Cynthia Mastin (Jake), Joanne Figgins, uncles Joey (Pamie) Smith, Clint Rodgers, TJ Smalley, close cousins Mackenzie, Austin, Memphis, and Destiny and along with many more cousins, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by great grandparents John and Deola Smart, and Reao and Helen Smith.

Services for Mr. Smith will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 17, 2020, at E. S .Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Friends may come from 1:00 P.M. until service time Monday at the chapel.
