Jeff was greatly loved by many. He was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 15. His purpose in life was to love God and serve people. He graduated from Portland Bible College. He was always involved in ministry whether it was pastoring or through his ministry called Gospel Unveiled. Jeff enjoyed working with his hands and fixing cars. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.

Wife Julie Dorris; 5 children Shekinah (Andrew), Shawrith, Tiffany (Bill), Alexis, Austin; Parents Mildred Dorris and James Dorris (late); Siblings Pamela, Darryl, James, Ray (late), Clifton, Gary; 8 Grandchildren Cameron, Adrianna, Arissa, Jordon, Shariah, Sharaé, Samiah, Andrew; And an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better." Philippians‬ ‭1:21-23‬.

Services for Mr. Dorris will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Evangelistic Center Church.  Burial in Seattle, Washington.  Friends may call from 10:00AM until service time at the church.
