Jennifer Lynn McClanahan, age 51, originally from Carthage, Missouri passed away February 7, 2022 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Joplin, MO, Widefield High School in Colorado, and Southwest Missouri State University.

She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She had many accomplishments, but was most proud of her two daughters. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Linda Gonzalez (Tuscon, AZ); her three brothers and half-sister; her daughters, Tara E. McClanahan (Denver, CO), and Catherine A. Kirchner (Big Timber, MT); her son-in-law, Derek Kirchner and her three grandchildren, Annie, William, and Elizabeth Kirchner (Big Timber, MT); and her companion, Darwin Harris.

She was a strong woman, very loved by her friends and family. She would like her life and memory to be celebrated. If you are so inclined, please send white daisies to St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roeland Park, MO in her honor. She will be laid to rest near her father, Darrell Leon McClanahan, Jr. at Carl Junction Cemetery. The family asks for prayers for the repose of her soul.

Graveside services for Ms. McClanahan will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Carl Junction Cemetery.  Burial Carl Junction Cemetery.
