Jessie Robins, Jr. was born March 10 1947, in Blue Springs, Mississippi to the union of Jessie Robins, Sr. and Rennie Kimble Robins.

Jessie resided in Kansas City, MO where he went to school and raised his family.  Jessie worked at UMKC for 12 years.  He left there to start his own business, First Class Maintenance, which he took pride in.  Jessie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.  He loved his family and he will be greatly missed.

His hobbies included playing chess, fishing and spending time with his family.  He enjoyed watching football on Sundays and was ecstatic when his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, went to the Super Bowl.

He left this earthly life on March 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  Jessie Robins was preceded in death by both his parents, Jessie Robins, Sr. and Rennie Kimble Robins, and three sisters Lula Gibson, Ruby Brown, and Maggie White.

Jessie leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Velda Robins of the home; one son David Robins ( Telicia) of Kansas City Kansas; three daughters Andrea Key (Corey) of Springfield MO, Veronica Johnson of Kansas City Mo, and Jestina Robins of Jonesbourgh, Georgia; and a bonus daughter, Stephani Khalifah of Kansas City, MO; 13 grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Robins will be held Monday, March 23, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
