Jettie M. Stewart was born October 16, 1924, to the parents of Bolen Wroten and Girlie Harden in Bonita, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shortly after graduating from high school, Jettie married the love of her life, Climmie Stewart and they made their way to Kansas City, MO to raise a family.

Jettie and Climmie worked very hard their entire life's to give their children a good life and a family home paid for so their children would never have to worry about anything.  Jettie and Climmie remained married for 56 beautiful years until his homegoing.  She retired from Putsch's Cafeteria.

She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.  She was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church for over forty years.

Jettie M. Stewart departed this earthly life on Friday, November 29, 2019, in Kansas City, MO.  She was the angel of our hearts and mother to all.

She had six children: John L. Stewart, Betty L. Stewart, Barbra J. Ricks, Faye L. Stewart, Francis Y. Stewart and Climmie Stewart, Jr.; 2 sisters, Ruthie B. Moore of Louisiana and Helen Garner of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty six grandchildren; fifty six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services for Mrs. Stewart will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 9, 2019, at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial Brooking Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the church
