Jimmie M. "Mae" Fields was born on October 13, 1933 to the union of A. D. Haskins and Corneal Haskins in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was one of ten children born to this union.  She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters.

Jimmie received her early childhood education in the Kansas City, Kansas School District.  After high school, she was gainfully employed at Faultless Linen Supply until retirement. She was a faithful member of Christ Church of the Jesus Hour.  She faithfully attended church until her health failed. She served in the kitchen ministry.

Jimmie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jimmie departed this earthly life and entered eternity on Monday, October 21st.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughter Carol Caro (Kevin) of Lawrence, Kansas; three sons Jerome Fields of Houston, Texas, Jeffrey Fields (Aletha), Leonard Hardin (Deborah) both of Kansas City, Kansas; one brother Gary Johnson (Kathy) of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister Patricia Overton of Sacramento, California; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.

Services for Ms. Fields will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel North.  Burial Highland Park Cemetery-KCK.  Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. at (816) 924-8700.
