John Aaron Brown went to Heaven at the age of 36, on Thursday, March 4, 2021, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born August 8, 1984, to Linda Brown Chew and John L. Jamison in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  John went the name "Lil John", because he was named after his father, John L. Jamison.

He was employed at Mars Petcare, a job which he loved.  Going to work and making a difference was what he loved to do.  He prided himself in working hard and helping all those he could.

John was known for his loving heart and contagious smile.  He made friends everywhere he went.  He enjoyed playing his video games, dancing, hanging out with his little brother, friends and family.  He was crazy about the Kansas City Chiefs.

John always liked to know who his family was and once he found out you were family, he would always stay close and keep in contact.  He was crazy about his two daughters and loved the both of them with everything in him. He was a wonderful father.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Linda Chew of Omaha, Nebraska; daughters, Armani Brown and Jada Brown; brothers, Brandon Brown and Jason Jamison of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Shawrita James of Kalamazoo, Michigan...who loved him more than words can express along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Brown were held Friday, March 12, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.
