Judith Sherrold (Anders) Taylor was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 13, 1942, to Frank Louis Anders and Alby E. Wagner. She was the first of three children. She died on December 23, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Derek Frank Anders, Sr., Devin Manuel Espinoza, and Damon Lonell Powell; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She also leaves her two sisters, Sandra Jean White and Michele Susan Anders.

A devout Christian, she was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church; Victory Way Church of God; and most recently Gethsemane Church of God in Christ, Pastor Darryl Randolph Sr.

She graduated from Manual Vocational Technical School with a certification in secretarial work. With the ability to type 160+ WPM, she worked as the Circuit Court Judge secretary; as an operator at Western Electric (now AT&T); and as an Intake Specialist at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She later relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota where she worked as an Intake Specialist for the dispatch unit of the police department. After 4 years of service, she retired and returned to Kansas City.

She loved the color blue, cats and dogs, Snoopy, word searches, and above all else, her family.
