Mr. Karl Eric Harris was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 31, 1963. He was born to the union of Jimmy and Jennette Harris. His father and both sisters, Rhonda Swopes and Sherri Fraction preceded him in death.

Karl attended grade school in the Kansas City area. He attended and graduated from Southeast High School in 1981. He accepted Christ at an early age.

Karl worked various jobs throughout his life but nothing compared to his first love which was art. He created so many works of art through his mind. From paintings, and ceramics, to statues and cities made with popsicle sticks. He was a very patient man that loved his family dearly. Karl was a caring son, father, and uncle.

Karl departed this life on January 8th, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Jennette Harris; daughter, Alisha Mitchell; two brothers, LeBron and Richard Harris; two nieces, Chaneise and Javon Swopes; six nephews, Donny Swopes, Lamont, Montel, Brandon, Tyrone and Devon; a host of other family, friends, great nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
