Katherine Cunningham was born February 15, 1939, to Hezekiah Cunningham and Rosa Lee Simmons Cunningham in Kansas City, Kansas.  Both parents preceded her in death.

She was baptized at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church and joined there in 1966.  Katherine was employed and worked as a maid for a living at different family homes, the Headlys, the Graybills and the Carpers.  She worked for those family many years until her health stared failing and she had to retire.  After retiring, these families always kept in touch with her.

Katherine's hobbies were fixing pictures puzzles, reading movie book and magazines about the movies and watching TV.

Katherine Cunningham passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the age of 81, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was well lived by family and friends.  She will be missed very much.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one brother, Ed Cunningham, Sr. (Shelia); two nephews, Ed Cunningham, Jr. and Chris Bables; niece, Yolanda Lynn Cunningham; two great-nieces, Taylor Lynne Cunningham and Cerese Lee and a host of family and friends.

Services for Ms. Cunningham will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 31, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Visitation 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the chapel.
