LaQuita Renee' Franklin, 26, was born July 7, 1993, in Kansas City, MO to LaWanda Harris Franklin and Clifton Franklin.  She was preceded in death by her little brother, Clifton Jackson, great grandmother, Hattie O. D. Means, grandmothers, Wila Mae McIntosh-Griffin and Odesa Crawford; grandfathers, William Griffin, Haywood Harris and Edgar Franklin; aunts, Ella Rodgers, Rev Harris; uncle, Ronnie Harris; a special mother, Lynette Shelby and a favorite cousin/godmother, Juanita S. Harris-Davis and a host of others whom she loved dearly.

LaQuita attended Imagine Renaissance High School where she earned her diploma and went to work in the restaurant business.  She went on to school to get a degree in Phlebotomist and started working in the healthcare field where she love helping people.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her fiancé, Davshay Jones; her parents, Clifton Franklin and LaWanda Franklin; 4 brothers, Antonio Harris, Aaron Evans, Vendell Harris (Stephanie) and Clifford Jackson; 3 sisters, Gina Murray, JacQuita Franklin all of KCMO and Jacqueline Franklin (Jessica) of Phoenix, AZ; 5 uncles, John Lowe (Velma) of Chicago, IL, Willie Lowe, William C. Harris (Christy) of Raymore, MO, Leadrewis Vasser (Reva) of Blackwater, MO, Robert Harris (Velda) of KCMO; 5 aunts, Rosie Vasser, Lillie Harris, Lucille Winscott, Mable Harris and Shirley Harris; two special nieces Varsace Harris and Vania Harris all of KCMO; two nephews, Vendell Harris, Jr. and Marshawn Shelby; 4 godkids, Elijah, Deaden, Jamari and King; 6 very special cousins, Narissa Bradley, Reva Harris, Tristan Love, Demiesha Lloyd, Rakia Harris and Takeia Boone; 2 best friends, Christy J. Reed and Krysten Van Norman all of KCMO; favorite Doctors, Dr. Bri from St. Luke's Hospital and Dr. Lasky from Children Mercy Hospital and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Ms. Franklin will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 14, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Sat. Dec. 14, 2019, at the chapel.
