Latoya Nicole Burchfield's Obituary
LaToya Nicole Burchfield was born in St. Louis, MO on November 9, 1981, to JoAnn Kimberly Daniels and George A. Burchfield Sr. She moved to Kansas City, MO with her mother in 1997, where she attended Central High School. She now joins her father George and grandparents Cleather and LeRoy Daniels, who also preceded her in death.
Toya loved and cherished her mother. She was loved by many. Her interests and hobbies included cooking, reading, shopping, and being around family and friends. She was always the life of the party. She was very outgoing, whether it was meeting new people or discovering new places. Anyone who knew her would describe her as very courageous and strong spirit. Although, feisty she had a soft heart for those she cared for.
LaToya departed this life on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Toya leaves to cherish her memories: mother JoAnn K. Daniels, Stepmother Betty Burchfield, eight siblings: Markita Douglas, Paris Douglas, Teresa Burchfield Sims (Lawrence), Lisa Burchfield Lewis (John), Shawana Jackson (Jose), John Franklin, George Burchfield Jr (Sherrell), Aaron Burchfield and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services for Ms. Burchfield will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the chapel.
