Leroy Brown, 80, of Kansas City, Missouri, entered peacefully into rest at approximately 3:00 O'clock in the afternoon on Saturday May 1 ^st , 2021, at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Raytown, Missouri, following an extended illness.

Leroy was the youngest son of Mr. Robert Brown Sr. and Mrs. Augusta Brown. He was born on Friday, November 14 ^th , 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri where he was a life-long resident. During his working years Leroy was employed at the Kansas City Sanitation Department and he also worked for the Jewish Synagogue in Overland Park, KS after retiring he enjoyed working as a landscaper. He also enjoyed traveling with his sister-in-law, Hazel whom he cherished and diligently looked after, after the passing of his eldest brother, Tobe Williams.

Memories of his life will be shared and cherished by those he leaves behind: a sister-in-law, Hazel (Tobe) Williams of Kansas City, MO; two nephews, Christopher and Craig (Nicole) Williams; great-nephew, Cameron Williams; cousins, Damon (Ruby) White, Ezekiel White Jr., James (Diane) White, Debbie White and a host of friends.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. & Augusta Brown; his maternal grandparents, Eugene & Laura White; two brothers, Tobe Williams and Robert Brown Jr. and a niece, Mary Mclean.

Services for Mr. Brown will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday, May 7, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
