Lester Paul Sr. was born September 3, 1963, in Memphis, Tennessee to Rosie Hardiman and Leon Paul. He eventually left Memphis, and continued his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended KCPS public schools and graduated from Southwest High School.

Through the years he pursued many career dreams, eventually landing at the Kansas City Water Department where he dedicated 19 wonderful years. Working at the KCMO Water Department, he made many strong and lasting friendships with a company and people that treated him like family. He was given many opportunities for advancement and was proud of his accomplishments.

He loved, football, basketball, fast cars, collecting guns, women, and family.  The New England Patriots was his greatest love. But most importantly he loved the Lord.

He is proceeded in his death by his father, Leon Paul; special aunts, Georgia Francis and Olivia "Sister" Brooks; niece, Stephanie Mosby; special friend, Kasheme Strother; and daughter, Jasmine Mathis Paul.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Rosie Hardiman; one brother, Warren Brooks; two sons, Lester Paul Jr. and Kip Bonds; four grandchildren, Adeline Paul, Kielyn, Koa and Warrick Bonds; two aunts, Willie Mae Cook (Buford) and Barbara Nathaniel (Guy); and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends. He had a knack for making friends easily and making all friends feel like his best friend.
