On Friday, April 21, 2023, Ms. Linda Carolyn Marie White made her transition from this earthly life to her heavenly home. She was born on January 8, 1952 to the union of Gladys E. Simmons and Ivory White in Shreveport, Louisiana. Both parents; and two sisters, Sherilyn A. Sample and Angela C. Jordan preceded her in death.

Upon graduating from Lincoln High School's class of 1969, Ms. White attended Avila College and UMKC graduating from both. She earned various degrees, but her passion was in the Nursing field, of which she also held a Nursing Degree. She worked at various hospitals and nursing homes in Kansas City, MO. She was very good at and proud of her last job as a Certified Medical Technician. She loved her pets and planting flowers and relaxing when she could.

She leaves to mourn her passing two siblings, a brother, Christopher R. L. White (Kristien); a sister, Mrs. Ivory D. Pearl (Sylvester); two aunts, Ms. Gloria M. Simmons and Mrs. Florece Franklin; one uncle, Mr. Rodger C. Simmons (Caroline); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
