Lisa Simone Young's Obituary
Lisa Simone Young, age 60, passed away peacefully November 14, 2020. She was born August
5th, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri to Fredrick and Gwendolyn White. She married Perry Young II when
she was 23 years old. Perry and Lisa have four children together. Candice, Phillip, Kyra and
Crystal Young. They share four grandchildren Xavier Young, Damont Halloway, Devin Halloway
and Trinity Rose Anderson. Lisa had two sisters; Yvonne Rene'e Johnson, Debra Ann Fielder-Bay.
She also has three brothers; Michael White, Mark White and Jimmy Bowers.
Lisa lived in Kansas City, MO, her whole life. She was married to Perry Young for 36 years and
they loved spending time together traveling and enjoying life. Lisa also enjoyed family vacations
with her children and grandchildren. She loved being a mother and a Nana. She worked in the
medical field for 42 years. 18 of those years were spent working at Fresenius Medical Care. She
was a well accomplished Dialysis Technician, Patient Care Technician and a CNA (Certified N
ursing Assistant). She loved the people she worked with and truly loved her patients.
Lisa's life was a living example of her faith in Jesus Christ. She had a true gift to encourage
others and speak life into people. She often shared scriptures, inspirational and motivating
quotes to encourage others. Lisa allowed the light of Christ to shine through her that touched so
many people by showing love to others. Lisa was very passionate about sharing her faith with
others so everyone could experience the greatest gift, Jesus Christ.
Lisa was a visionary, she had a true passion for the arts, writing, fashion, gardening and
photography. Lisa loved capturing "green beauties" in photos. She enjoyed growing vegetables
and other vegetations. Lisa also enjoyed Starbucks, Women at the Well bible study group,
Sunday Morning services and most of all spending time with the ones she cherished the most,
family.

Heaven welcomes home an Angel, where she is reunited with her son, "Phillip Michael Thomas
Young!"
Services for Mrs. Young will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Sheffield Family Life Center. Private Disposition. Friends may call from 10:00A.M. until service time Thursday at the church.
