Lloyd Joseph Lee, a brick mason, a longtime resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on February 20, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospice House. He was born February 21, 1934, to Mabel and Jesse Lee of Cocoville, Louisiana. They both preceded him in death. He was the middle child of the family. He had two brothers, Lymon and Herman Lee. They too also preceded him in death.

On June 25, 1954, Lloyd married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Dolores Lee. To this union three children were born, Marie Francine Lavallais (Bruce), Cheryl Lannette Landrum (Wayne) and Lloyd Cornell Lee (Christina).  They also have 14 grandchildren.

Lloyd was a Brick Mason for 65 years.  Over his years of being a brick mason he belonged to the following bricklayers union:  Union local #1-Louisiana, Local #18-Kansas City, MO, and Local #15- Kansas City, MO. He worked for many Contractors: Sylvester Ravar Masonry, V.S DiCarlo, Carl Enquist, Trio Masonry, Larkin Masonry, D&M Masonry, and D&D Masonry.

Lloyd and Dolores both grew up and worked for the Catholic Church. They both were members of St Louis Catholic Parish since being in Kansas City in 1962. Lloyd belonged to the Knights of St. Peter Claver where he served in many capacities. He attended many conventions and was designated as the driver of some of the women of Ladies Auxiliary of St. Peter Claver. He served many years as Head Usher of the church, and Leader of the cleaning crew for church events. He also served on the church counsel as advisor for building repairs.

He also was a member of the bowling teams at Premier Bowling in Raytown. He was a man that you could always count on whether it had to do with cooking and preparing food at church dinners, family dinners, repairs on your home, or whatever he could help with. He was always willing to do it. He was a willing servant for the Lord.

He leaves to mourn: his three children; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; a great host of cousins, friends and other family members.

Services for Mr. Lee will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
