Loretta Gweneth Ervin was born on March 14, 1934, to the union of Ross and Venice Campbell in Brazil, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, her parents, two sons Steve Demetre and Jeff Ervin, daughter Cindy Martin, daughter-in-law Marcia Roberts, and son-in-law Richard Martin.

Loretta was married to the love of her life, Melvin Ervin for 68 years.

She loved her family. She loved gatherings, traveling, and cooking.

Loretta passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 1, 2024.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter Christy; son-in-law Keith Fowler; son Marty Ervin; Paula Beaty; grandchildren Matthew Demetre, Darcy and Dan Hill, Alyssa Roberts, Richard Martin, Brian Martin, Jessica Eagle, Blake Fowler, Lance and Stacey Fowler, Amy and Jeremy Russell, Kelly and Tony Ervin; step-children Tami Carter and Eric Fry; and a host of great-grandchildren and other family and friends who she adored.
