Lorraine E. Barker, 97, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at her home.  She was born to Horace Hill and Ostiemae Hamilton January 7, 1923, in Kansas City, MO.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Horace Hill, Jr.; her sister, Lucille Hill.

She attended the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School.  During World War II she worked as Rosie The Riveter Helping to make Air Crafts.

In 1955, Lorraine married Robert Williams. To this marriage four children were born.  This union was later resolved.  In 1964, she married the love of her life Lavern Barker who passed away in 1992.

Lorraine was a member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years.  She was employed as a supervisor for the U. S. Agriculture retiring with over 32 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a daughter, Carmen Johnson (Robert) of the home; son, Robert Williams (Gail) of Bolingbrook, IL; a host of nieces, nephews; special family friends, The Millers and other relatives and dear friends.
