Margie Mae West Roach, 78, was born on February 14, 1942, in Shreveport, LA.  She attended Douglas Elementary and High School in Lawton, OK.  She married John Roach and moved to Kansas City, MO.

While temporarily living in Austin, TX, she passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020.  She lived a full, blessed life. During her life, she was a domestic worker and eventually owned her own successful maid/cleaning business. She was dedicated to providing immaculate service. Her employers and clients cherished her and often gave her bonuses and gifts.

Margie never met a stranger and was always willing to give, assist, and listen.  She was a very caring person that embraced you with extreme kindness. She was a part of Straitway Ministries under Pastor Charles Dowell and locally Pastor Corey Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her sister, father, son, mother, brother, and husband, John Roach.

Survivors include: her children, Johnny Roach (Carolyn) and Kenneth Roach of KCMO; and herself-raised grandson, Johnny Williams of KCMO; a host of other grandchildren; great-nieces; one great-nephew and one great-granddaughter; siblings, Resse Bowden (James) of Harker Heights, TX; Walter Clark, Jeanetta Jenkins, both of KCMO; nieces, Sheila Roach, Marshall, TX; Crystal Hunter, KCMO; nephews, Allen Bolden, Temple, TX; Daniel Jenkins, KCMO, and a host of other family in Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri. Margie is also survived by many good friends that she love dearly.

Services for Mrs. Roach will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 24, 2020, at E.S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery.
