Mr. Marlon Ramell Woods, Sr. "Moe" was born April 20, 1979, in Kansas City Missouri to Maurice E. Woods and Myrtle J. Ford.

He departed this life on June 17 ^th 2022.

He moved to Saint Charles, MO at the age of 6 with His father and stepmother Tanya Woods and brothers Maurice Jr and Renwick.

Educated in the St. Charles school district where He played football and was a star defensive back. After graduation he joined the Ford Motor Company in St Louis but realized soon that assembly wasn't his calling. Relocating back to Kansas City is where he found,  his true passion was for music and Family  He became a wonderful caregiver to his father during his time of recovery Marlon and his bond grew stronger. the Love that he shared with his father poured over into his relationship with his Sons.

Marlon loved singing with his friends in the band IllSPENT HE Loved Music!

…He was a big CHIEFS FAN there wasn't a game that he wasn't going to watch when his team was playing win or lose, he was a faithful FAN! He Loved watching the game with family and friends and sporting all his Chiefs Gear.

There was nothing that he wouldn't have done for his children he was so proud to be a father.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Alice Kwines Ford his maternal uncle's Samuel Frierson Jr. and Roosevelt Taylor; his maternal aunt Betty Jean Jackson his maternal cousin Denise R. Frierson, his paternal cousins Cirr Woods Kevin Woods, Sr. his paternal uncle Ronald "Antoine" Woods.

Marlon Ramell Woods is survived by his father  Maurice Woods (Tanya) his mother Myrtle J. Ford, Brother Maurice Woods Jr, of St. Peters, MO, three sons Marlon R. Woods Jr,Mikah Woods, of O'Fallon, MO Cameron William Seidl, of De Soto. His paternal grandparents Ronald (Sandra) Woods, Grandmother Mary Woods, his maternal aunt Dorothy Ford (Dwayne); his paternal great Uncle William "Bubbie" Perry (Shirley) Uncle Donald Woods, Aunts Tina Brown ( Eddie) of Seattle, WA, Denise Woods, Marguerite Woods-Jordan ,Bridget Woods, his maternal cousins; Alice Jackson, Randall Turner, Sherry Murphy and Omar Zachary of Kansas City, Paternal cousin Rev. Saron D Anthony, Paternal Uncle Ronald Cline, cousin Gieselle Taylor of Overland Park, KS  cousins Caroline Bonsasa of Lee's Summit and Sandra Frierson of Blue Springs; cousin Lamont Murphy of California; cousins Ebony Love and Bianca Zachary of Texas; his paternal cousins Patrice (Gabriel) Mendoza; Carly Woods; Dione (Amy) Woods; Veronica Woods; Steven Woods; Cocise (Aujolee) Grace, Sacramento, CA; Darnell (Maggie) Brown, Los Angeles, CA; Raphael Woods; Kotera, Matthew, Aaron Jordan; Rodney Woods; Shaunda (Anthony) Gipson; Clifford Jones.
