MARQUISE DEMETRIC WILLINGHAM

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing our beloved Marquise Willingham. Who left us unexpectedly on August 12, 2026, at the age of 21. He was a cherished son, brother, and nephew whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

Marquise Dimetric Willingham born on November 17, 2004, to Darrell Willingham and Tanisha Hines in Independence, MO. 

Marquise recently graduated from Basehor High School in June. He was born with a disability but was so full of joy. Marquise’s smile lit up the room and loving caring spirit to all who crossed his path. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved watching SpongeBob and playing toys cars. Everyone knew Marquise was coming because loved to clap his hands. He really enjoyed car riding with his father.

Marquise leaves to cherish his beautiful memory: his father, Darnell Willingham, his mother Tanisha Hines Sisters: Darnesha Hill, Harmony Willingham, Da'Ryah Willingham, Katrina Hines, Kanisha Hines and Marquajah Ivory Brothers; Key’veon Hines, Kendrick Hines and Lamontah Mack Nephews; Amari Hill and Amiris Green Grandparents; Rhonda Willingham and Douglass Winston; and a host of Aunties and Uncles.

Marquise leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and cherish moments, that will continue to live on, in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in Eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
