Mary V. Thomas was born March 26, 1929, to Harrison James and Jessie Phine Morgan in Mayview, Missouri.  She departed this life on Wednesday, Jun 5, 2019, at home.  She attended and finished school in Mayview.  Mary accepted Christ at an early age.

Through the years she was self-entrepreneur as an Avon Representative and Cake Decorator.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ira W. Thomas, a daughter, Connie J. Criss, a grandchild, Baby Jason Criss both parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, Virgil (Marie) Criss, Jr., Ronnie (Naomi) Criss, Darryl Criss, Dwayne Criss; one daughter, Patricia (Emerson) Harlin all of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Theresa D. Reed all of Kansas City, MO; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Thomas will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.
