Maureen Pamela Griffin was born July 27, 1955 to the union of Edward and Vivian Kelley in Detroit, Michigan.  She was preceded in death her mother Vivian Kelley, brother Timothy Kelley, and daughter Heather Wood.

Her parents settled the family in the Kansas City, area.  After graduation, Maureen worked for the Blue Valley School District.  She, later, served the community as a school bus driver for the last 20 years.

Maureen passed away on May 24, 2021 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center surrounded by close family and friends.

Maureen is survived by: her husband of 21 years Eric Griffin; father Edward Kelley of Shawnee, Kansas: sister Monica Kelley of Shawnee, Kansas; sister-in-law Barbara Kelley of Edwardsville, Kansas; three sons, Aaron Kraft (Keisha, wife) and Austin Griffin, Morgan Griffin (Erin); two daughters Megan Varilla (Alejandro, husband) and Karen Griffin of Florida; 11 Grandchildren: Shawn Varilla, Jason Varilla, Dallas Varilla, Victoria Varilla,, Mercedes Varilla, Gabriel Varilla, Da'Shaun King, Jayden King, Kayleb Griffin, Adalynn Fuster, and Jesse Gatson; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  She will be greatly missed.
