Maurice DaWayne Jones was born April 8,1979 in Kansas City, Missouri to Denise Ann Holliman-Burris and Andre David Jones. He was the third of four children born to this union.

Maurice received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.  He attended Northeast High School.  After high school, he pursued many jobs opportunities regardless of his learning disability.

Maurice had a love for people. He loved to help people. He helped them by way of money, of food, or of clothes.  He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.  Maurice was very generous at times.  He greatly loved his community.  He will always be remembered for his love.

Maurice departed this life on June 25, 2026. Hearts were broken.

Maurice leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Denise Holliman-Burris; father, Andre Jones; step father, Charles Burris; two brothers, Andre D. Jones and Terrance L. Jones; one sister, Andreya D. Jones; aunts, uncles, cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends.
