Michael E. Ellington
was 62 years young. He was born at
Richards Gebaur Air Force Base
and raised in
Kansas City, Missouri to Gloria
Christine
Simmons Hutton & James Elvin Ellington
.
Michael attended Blessed Sacrament School & Southeast Senior High.
Michael
was very determined to be the best in whatever. He endeavored even in marriage. He
had longevity. In 1984, he united in marriage with the love of his life "
Wilma.
" 37 years later, they
both still honored their union and they both loved sitting on their deck of their home that they bu
ilt in Blue Springs, Mo.
Michael worked
at
Orlin Remington Arms
for over 38 years as a proud mixer. Only a few
folks would ever handle this very dangerous job. A few folks lost their lives in this department. He was looking forward to retirement in the upcoming years.
Michael
was a master of games and challenges. He loved his dogs and took up breeding many
breeds until he fell in love with Neapolitan Mastiffs. He was a proud member of the
Neapolitan
Mastiffs. He had been a member of a bowling team and had passion for exotic and
classic
cars. However, he was even more proud to be a card caring NRA MEMBER.
Michae
l was very proud of his family. You could hear him bragging on and speaking proudly
& affectedly of them. He would let everyone know if you did
n't like it, what actions they
could take. Lol
Michael's grandson, TreMond Turner,
was his grandfather's shadow, buddy they were very
close. Michael was all of his nephews and nieces favorite uncle.
"Tha Michael"
exited his earthly body on Wednesday December 08, 2021 ten days before his
birthday anniversary.

uncles preceded him in his home going.

Services for Mr. Ellington will be held 11:00AM Friday, December 17, 2021, at Central Christian Church. Burial Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00AM until service time at the church.
