Michael Aaron Rich's Obituary
Michael Aaron Rich, 20, was born August 16, 2000 at KU Medical Center to Jeanette Herron and Robert Rich. He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Ruth Herron,
He attended Northeast High School. Michael was an avid fisherman. He was always on the water. He won many awards throughout his life. He had the magic charm with fish. He always desired to try new things. He was into skateboarding and drawing. He traveled to Wyoming to climb a mountain and he fished from a canoe. He also traveled to London and witnessed the aura lights and beautiful castles. He loved animals and enjoyed making things grow.
Michael always thought outside the box which is what made him unique. He was one of those people you met once in a life time. He was into helping others. Michael would help serve the homeless on Sundays at the park. Everyone loved him. He was a friend to many. His smile was contagious. He lit up the room anytime he walked in.
Most people knew Michael from Family Dollar on Independence Avenue. He never met a stranger he didn't like. His heart was kind. He was real. What you saw is what you got.
Michael is survived by his mother, Jeanette Herron; father, Robert Rich; step father, Robert Anderson; brother, Matthew Rich; and sister, Madison Hicks.
He will be missed by SO many family and friends.
Services for Mr. Rich will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time, Saturday, at the chapel.
