Rev. Robert M. Conway was born February 11, 1942, in Union Hill, Missouri to Robert M. Conway and Mary E. Brooks.  He was preceded in death by both parents.

Robert was educated in the public school system and graduated from Marshall High School with the class of 1959.

He married his first love, Mary E Johnson in 1962.  To this union two children were born.  Robert and Mary were married 51 years until her death in 2014.  Robert married Delilia Young July 8, 2016, and they were married until his death.

Robert was employed with United Parcel Service for thirty six years as an over the road truck driver until his retirement in 2007.

Robert professed Christ early in his life and was a true servant of God.  He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church and loved attending church services.  He served on the New Members Committee, Media, he was an Associate Minister, a member of Simeon Sheepfold and the Brotherhood Ministries.

Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  In his free time he enjoyed gardening.  His backyard won plenty of prizes.  Robert enjoyed family reunions and vacations.  He loved to bowl and bowled in many tournaments.  Robert had many friends on the bowling league.

Robert was known to always have a smile on his face and was nicknamed "cheesy."

Robert Conway passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Research Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of almost 3 years, Delilia Conway; one son, Kevin Conway; daughter, Dana Kindle (Wayne) all of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren, Wayne Kindle, II, Rahmya Veal-Houpe (Darell), Pierce Conway, Austen Kindle, Christian Kindle and Lindsay Conway; six step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and true friend.

Service for Rev. Conway will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Friendship Baptist Church.  Burial Brooking Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
