Norma Jean (West) Campbell , 84, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She spent her last days surrounded and supported by her loving family. She was the youngest of 3 born to William and Naomi West.

Norma was educated in the Leavenworth, Kansas School System. She moved to Kansas City in her late teens, where she would reside for the rest of her life.

She accepted Christ at an early age.

She met and married Willie (Bill) Campbell.  To this union, her one and only child, Patrick was born.

Norma dedicated her life to her family.  She cared for her parents, in their golden years, until they went home to be with the Lord.

She loved taking her grandkids wherever they wanted to go. She spent her entire career with the City of Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as a secretary, for 34 years, to the Director of Personnel.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William West; great grandson, Nasir James Campbell, and nephews, Adrian Church and Thomas Beck.

She is survived by her beloved son, Patrick (Teresa); sister, Darlene Beck of Redondo Beach, CA; grand-children, Patrick II, Zaria, and Donovan Campbell; great grand-daughters, Zamaiya and Makai Campbell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
