Norma Lee Tennyson Williams loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother,  peacefully transitioned to life's eternal glory on December 4, 2021.

Mrs. Williams was born in Kansas City Kansas on December 11, 1935. The fourth of eleven children to Melvin and Laura Tennyson. She was educated in the Kansas City Kansas Public school system, graduating in 1953 from Sumner High School.  Norma attended General Hospital # 2 School of Nursing receiving her certificate of Registered Nurse in 1957.

On August 29, 1960 Norma was joined in holy matrimony to Arnett Williams.  She and her beloved husband shared 59 years together until his transition on May 26, 2019. To this union three children were born:  Keith Arnett, Laurie Lynnette and Sharon Denise Williams.

Norma was a nurturer who showed loving kindness to all those she encountered and came in contact with.  Arnett and Norma were known, respected, loved and adored throughout their community and will be truly missed.

Norma Lee Tennyson Williams memories will remain in the hearts of her beloved children: Son Keith (Tracy) Williams, Laurie (Johnathon) White, Sheryll Wilson; Sisters: Mary Ward, Brenda Jackson, Debra (Stanford) Williams; Sister-in laws Thelma Talley, Darnella McDowell and brother-in-law James Johnson.  Grandchildren: Kiva (Meon) Jordan, Shannon Williams, Christopher (Tiera) Wilson, Grady Henderson, Taylor (Dionnete) Price, Dustin Williams, Stephaun Wilson, KeArra Williams. Great Grandchildren: Imani Battles, Dayton Jordan, Indya, Aleah, Alayna, Averie Henderson, Armani Williams, Alexis and Jordynn Henderson, Dallas and Dionnete Price II, Maddox Wilson, Damari and Damir Williams.  A host of family, friends, nieces, nephews and so many others who were blessed to know her.

Norma Lee Tennyson Williams was preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Laura Tennyson, daughter Sharon Williams-Johnson, father and mother-in-law, four brothers and three sisters and many loved ones and friends who welcomed her into the kingdom of GOD.

Services for Mrs. Williams will be held 7:00PM Saturday, December 11, 2021, at E. S. Eley and Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc.  Private disposition.
