With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Oliva Medrano Jimenez , a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 50.

Born in Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, on March 23, 1975. Oliva grew up primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where she built a beautiful life centered around family, love, and unwavering strength. She was the proud mother of six children, Martin Medrano, Ashley Jimenez, Jennifer Jimenez, Britney Jimenez, Kevin Jimenez, and Drake Jimenez. She was also a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren, Amari Medrano, Ariana Medrano, Avelina Medrano, and Iris Mahurin; all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Oliva was the devoted wife and lifelong partner of Jose Jimenez. Together, they built a home and shared a deep bond—not only in marriage, but as partners in every aspect of life. Their love and teamwork were the foundation of a family that remains strong because of her.

Oliva was the daughter of Maria E. Vasquez and sister to Jesus G. Medrano, Roxana Medrano Vasquez, and Alejandra Molina Carranza. She valued family above all else and was known for her fierce devotion, protective heart, and unconditional love.

She had a passion for caring not only for her children and grandchildren, but also for her beloved pets, who were like family to her. Whether walking her dogs, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or planning family holiday gatherings, Oliva lived a life full of purpose and love. She brought people together and held them close, both in hard times and in celebration.

Her strength was unmatched. She was the emotional anchor of her family-their backbone and guiding light.

She led with a strong will, a tender heart, and an enduring love that will never be forgotten. She protected and stood up for her children at all costs and was always front and center when they needed her.

Oliva leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and deep family bonds. Her life was a beautiful example of what it means to give selflessly and love fiercely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
