Rev. Donald L. Morrison was born on July 22, 1953, to George Morrison and Tommie Mae Morrisson in Kansas City, Missouri.

After completing his education, he was ordained as a minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. During his 39 years of service, he pastored many churches throughout the area including Independence, Kansas, Sedalia, Missouri, Booneville, Missouri, and Kansas City, Missouri.

Rev. Morrison was currently serving as the pastor of Mariah Walker African Methodist Episcopal Church where he not only preached but taught the Word faithfully.

Rev. Morrison was a true disciple and dedicated to learning the Word of God. His knowledge of church history was second to none. Often, he would say "you need more than the Bible to preach the word."

Rev. Morrison loved food and sports. He took pride in seeing the Boston Celtic win the NBA Championship.
