Obituary

Peggy Sue Elam, age 63, suddenly passed on March 24, 2023, due to lung cancer.

Peggy was born on May 11, 1959, to Linda Stratton and Henry Butler in Richmond, Missouri.
As a young adult, Peggy married Lester Pennell in 1977. Shortly after marriage, they were blessed with four children; Thomas Pennell, Trisha Miller, Nicolas Pennell, and William Pennell.
Peggy later met David Elam in 1997. Throughout their marriage they were blessed with 12 grandchildren; Jaden, James, Katie, Joseph, Alexis, Christopher, Jenna, Destiny, Asia, Tommy, Trinity, William, and most recently great grandchild, Michael.

Anyone acquainted with Peggy knew that her pride and joy we're all of her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will be watching over all of them from above, for eternity. Everyone also knew that she had a love for animals and the outdoors.
Peggy Sue was preceded by; brother, Johnny Lynn, and her mother and father.
Peggy Sue is survived by; Aunt Charlene, brother, Kenneth Stratton, husband, David Elam, all children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.

Memorial Service to be held at Moose Lodge, 2537 Blue Ridge Blvd, KC, MO 64129 at 4pm. All are welcomed.
