Randy Joe Scott of Forrest City, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on December 8, 1957, Randy was the beloved youngest child of the late Jesse and Iola Scott. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jessie Mae Scott, Mattie Mae Scott, James Scott, Alfred Lee Scott, and Hazel Welch.

Growing up in Forrest City, Randy accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. Randy attended Forrest City High School, graduating with the class of 1977. He went on to build a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Geraldine Scott. Together, they shared countless cherished memories and experiences.

Randy has four beloved daughters, Anitra Scott, Stephene Garrett (John Garrett), Brandy Dillingham (Michael Dillingham), and Denise Scott. He took great pride in watching his daughters grow and succeed.

In addition to his daughters, Randy leaves behind a legacy of love through his three grandchildren, Charles Burney Jr., Alysha Burney, and Leah White.

Randy touched the lives of his nephews and nieces acting as a father figure to them. Randy will be remembered for his sacrificial kindness, generosity, his love for music, fishing and his unwavering comedic personality. He leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
