Raven Monshae Givens-Ransburg was born July 26, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Latreasha J. Givens and Raymond D. Ransburg.  She was proceeded in death by her father, Raymond D. Ransburg and grandfather, Robert L. Ransburg.

Raven attended Hogan Preparatory High School graduating in 2014.  Raven worked for J. C. Penny in the call center, Dr. Carols Law Firm, and Johnson Controls. One of the things she loved about working for Dr. Carols was instructing young men on how to obtain their Commercial Driver's License.

Raven was very social amongst her peers. She loved helping people, hanging with family & friends and traveling. Her love for travel led her to become a travel agent. The biggest trip, she got to adventure, was to Tulum in Mexico, with friends.

Raven professed her love for Christ at an early age. She was baptized and was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Raven enjoyed reading the bible and having Bible Study Classes.

Raven leaves to mourn her passing her mother, Latreasha J. Givens; stepfather, Anthony T. McGee of Kansas City, Missouri; grandmother, Edith E. Ransburg of Lee's Summit, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Sander Martin and Willette Martin of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Jordyn N. Ransburg and Raegen M. Ransburg; brothers, Joshua T. Ransburg, Raymond D. Ransburg Jr. and Anthony T. McGee Jr.; nephews, Carter Turner, Royale Ransburg, and Ramir Ransburg.

Raven was loved by a host of friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and church family.
